Whether you are tracking packages or tracking mail pieces it is important to have some type of package tracking software to do the leg work for you. The old fashion way of tracking a package once it has been delivered to your organization starts with a phone call down to the mail room or the receiving dock. At this point it is up to the personnel who are typically swamped with the sorting and routing of all of their inbound packages to research and locate the package that is in question. This process could take hours depending on the volume of packages received and when that particular package came in. Tracking parcels is not a simple procedure if you do not have the proper package tracking system in place. Here at Ubiquia we have designed a web based tracking solution called SQBX. This system makes tracking a package quick and easy. Since SQBX is web based we can provide global visibility of your mail/packages from any computer connected to the internet. This will reduce calls down to the mail room or loading dock to locate packages. In addition to finding the package quickly in the system, SQBX is also a proof of delivery software. With the use of a mobile device you can capture a signature of the recipient and prove that a certain person had signed for the package at a given point in time. All of this information can be visible if the user has been granted access to the system. SQBX is simply the fastest and most powerful tool to implement for your package tracking needs. Whether you require a complex enterprise package tracking system that covers multiple locations or are just looking for a simple one site installation, SQBX is the best way to track a parcel or package. Contact us today to see the power of SQBX first hand with a live demonstration.
Loan documentation, property titles, customer's financial statements are all vital when trying to fund a deal for a borrower. It is of utmost importance that the documents are accounted for and can be located quickly in order to process the loan. There are many departments and personnel that are involved in these types of transactions. With the use of tracking software like SQBX package tracking software an organization can quickly determine who has a particular document at a given period of time. Being that the system is a web based tracking solution it can be accessible to any individual with in the organization that has internet access at their desktop. Signatures can be captured when the documents change hands to create the chain of custody required for tightly managing package locations. The more efficient your staff is, the greater amount of transactions your organization can complete. This will result in a competitive advantage which can directly impact your bottom line in a positive way.
It was recently brought to our attention that at a major university in the North East had difficulty tracking the guests of the residence of the dormitories. It was currently done via pen and paper at each facility. There were 13 dorms across campus and logging and tracking all of the visitors was cumbersome and inaccurate. SQBX-VT visitor tracking software was the perfect solution for this particular university. They were able to view who was on site, how long they have been there, who they were visiting, who arrived today, who departed today, etc. All of these events are time and date stamped as to create an audit trail for tracking purposes. Being that the system is web based, it is easily deployed across the entire campus simply by providing user names and passwords to the security personnel. Global visibility of the residence's guests gives a real time snapshot of the entire dorm system. With growing concerns for security and the safety of the student body this solution is an ideal match for this application. Call us today to learn more about this application or the many other solutions that we offer for tracking packages, visitors, and assets. View the Power of SQBX first hand on one of our live online demonstrations.

The SQBX package tracking system is an enterprise mail and package tracking and delivery management system that supports both workstation and mobile computer receiving capabilities. In other words you can receive inbound mail and shipments using multiple computer workstations or use our mobile handheld computers like the Motorola MC55. Depending on your situation workstations, mobile computers, or a combination of both may fit your needs.

Situation: You Simply Want A Count Of The Packages Dropped By The Carrier

Both our mobile computers and the web-based workstation software have the capability of a quick scan of inbound packages to get a count of the packages unloaded by the carrier. All that's required is a quick scan of the carrier barcode on each package to give you a count of the total packages received. This allows you to verify the number of packages the carrier is having you sign for. Later when time avails itself you can rescan each package and enter the details required for your internal operation.

Situation: Computer Access To Your Receiving Dock Is Not Available

No problem, use our mobile computers to receive packages into your organization. You can enter the same details on the mobile computer that you can with the desktop computer. In fact, multiple mobile computers can receive on the dock. Each user can than take his packages directly out for delivery.

Situation: Your Company Has Detailed Data Requirements To Track Inbound Packages

In this case it may work better for you to enter receipts into the workstation. Obviously a computer workstation has a much larger monitor and usually a full size keyboard for entering data. Entering large amounts of package receipt data into a mobile device slightly larger than a cell phone may get tedious.

Situation: You Require Internal Routing Information To Be Attached To The Package

Typically this requires using the computer workstation with an attached label printer. However, this will soon be available on our mobile computers as well.

Speed vs Mobility

A computer workstation has a lot more horsepower than the processor on a mobile computer and therefore is a lot faster when receiving packages and conducting research on your receipts and deliveries. However, sometimes the mobility of the handheld computer is so convenient that using it for receiving outweighs the speed of the desktop. This is certainly the case during the delivery process. It's unlikely you're going to be satisfied lugging your desktop computer around your mail route to capture the recipients signature.

SQBX Mobile, whether used on the Motorola MC55 or on your Windows Mobile cell phone, is built the world's fasted compact database technology. Our mobile application can support the largest data capacity in the industry. It's also very fast. So feel confidant that whether you chose the computer workstation or the mobile software, you'll receive and deliver packages and mail expeditiously.

Do you need to track assets or manage inventory? Asset tracking is a simple process that can be defined as "what assets do i currently have in storage, what assets are checked out, and who is responsible for a particular asset." So how does one accomplish this task? Typically, there is some type of log book at the storage location where the responsible parties check out and check in assets. Visibility is restricted only to the person that is looking at the book. At Ubiquia we have developed the SQBX Asset Tracking module that will give your organization the power of a world class tracking system deployed to unlimited users via the Internet.

Being that our asset tracking software is web based your organization will be able to have global visibility anywhere you have access to the Internet, even from your smart phone. Scan items out, scan items in, have the custodians sign for them, and view entire life history of an asset. If you intend to depreciate your assets then we have that covered as well.

Managing inventory is another story entirely. We do have that capability here at Ubiquia. To learn more about online inventory management software please visit our website Zenventory.com

SQBX is a web based receiving, visitor tacking, and asset tracking system that you access through your web browser. It is completely hosted and managed by us. There are several reasons why this is cost effective for our customers.

You don't have to buy any servers. To compare SQBX to other receiving systems you have to remember that our receiving software can serve one workstation or thousands of workstations. If you wanted to do this with our competitors you're going to need you own servers to serve the application to your company's workstations. You'll have to pay for the hardware and the operating system.

If you need your own servers you'll need internal I.T. support to manage and back up your system. Even if you're only getting one workstation you're going to have to manage data backups. With SQBX we back up your data incrementally everyday. We do full backups on the weekends. All backups are taken off site for safety.

Someone has to physically install the software on each workstation. The cheapest way is for you to do it. Our competitors however will charge you. This could become quite expensive if you're a large enterprise. SQBX is ready to go. If you choose SQBX for you package tracking, visitor tracking, or asset management needs your account can be ready to go in as little as one hour.

Your software may become antiquated. If you purchase your software you may never get updates unless you pay for them. SQBX is always up to date with the latest enhancements and newest technology.

You may have to wait to get service from your software provider. With SQBX however, support is a mouse click away. Our customers rave how quickly their questions are answered. We're fanatical about supporting our customers.

When you way all of these things up selecting a hosted solution for receiving software is a good choice. Overall you'll save money, get faster support, and always have the most up to date software.

For those of you watching the 2 hour premiers of Fox's 2010 version of 24 you probably saw how CTU was thankful that the UN scanned and tagged all inbound packages. CTU used this information to draw on all packages received including who the package was sent by and for what recipient it was meant for. This is exactly what SQBX package tracking software does. SQBX users simply log in to SQBX online, enter the sender and recipient details, then print a barcode that uniquely identifies that package. Each movement of the package is date and time stamped and marked with the user's details that moved the package. A complete history of the movement to the point of delivery is maintained.

It sounds like a prefect opportunity to make SQBX the official sponsor of 24!

Packages are not the only items that need to be tracked. Guests and visitors also need to be accounted for. Security, liability, company image and overall experience of the guest are just some of the reasons why it is critical to track the people that enter the walls of your organization. Our visitor tracking software enables you to accomplish a variety of tasks. Capture a photo, an image of their driver's license, a finger print or even a picture of their license plate to specifically account for who has visited your company. By keeping this information on file you can track the frequency of certain guests and who they've visited. Also, alerts can be set to flag certain guests as VIP, restricted, or expected. Print a security badge for easy scan in and scan out. You will have a time and date stamp on all transactions so you know who is in your facility and how long they were on site. Call today to find out more about this powerful tool.
