Package tracking software has come a long way since its inception in the early nineties. The internet has made the traditional model of loading software on desktop machines or customer networks a thing of the past. Here at Ubiquia we have pioneered the migration to a 100% web based application. This transformation results in a more pervasive system that has a larger reach across an organization. More users, faster research tools, and greater flexibility in terms of customization all can be accomplished through the use of our powerful web based parcel tracking system. Not only has the product undergone a radical change, the pricing structure has also been updated to fit in with the new way of thinking. Unlimited users per site license helps drive down costs associated with large enterprise type installations. The actual process of receiving and delivering has also been enhanced. Greater storage capabilities within the handhelds allow for a better routing and delivery process. Cloud computing as made the retrieval of archived data fast and easy. Let the managed service do the work for you reducing the load on your internal IT department. These are just some of the benefits of a web based package tracking system over the old desktop mail delivery system. Contact us today to see the real power of SQBX and how it can work for you.

SQBX can be used for more than just tracking packages. Our fully customizable system can be applied to a variety of applications outside of the mail center. Let's discuss today the tracking of samples through a chain of custody. Many organizations need to collect samples in the field and send the samples through some sort of QC process. SQBX can be a perfect solution to track when a particular sample was taken, who took the sample, where the sample is in the process, who has custody of the sample at a give point in time, and the results of the sample taken. All of these stages are customizable and can be reported on by anyone with the proper credentials. With the click of the mouse, the data concerning a particular sample can be visible via the secure web portal. SQBX helps bring the traditional process of tracking a chain of custody with a paper form, SQBX can keep all of the tracking information as well as capture electronic signatures as well. Call us today to see how we can deploy SQBX in your organization today.

Package tracking can be a very simple process. It is time to get rid of those old dusty log books and replace them with an easy to use mobile computer. When packages arrive at your door you can scan the bar code from the carrier that is already on the package to log it into your system. Now that the package has been received there are a variety of function that you can perform with an automated system. Log in the recipient's name and delivery information, send them a email notification that a package has arrived, store the package in a location and notate where you put it and so on. Delivery can be just as simple. Scan the package to be delivered and capture the signature of the recipient electronically much like how the carriers deliver packages to you. The key to the simplicity of the process is a user friendly application. If the system is easy to use, then your team will get the most use out of the system. Also, visibility is an important attribute of the system. Are packages able to be looked up throughout your organization or does just the mail room have visibility. This is an on demand world, make your package tracking software react to these on demand requests. Web based application will provide more flexibility than traditional desktop models. Contact us to see the Power of SQBX inbound package tracking system and see for yourself how we can accomplish your needs.

We have taken the powerful tracking solution SQBX and have adapted to provide process improvements over a wider variety of applications. SQBX is ideal for tracking the progress of a repair of any type of equipment. Lets say that your organization repairs mobile devices. When the device is shipped to you and is received, it can be scanned into SQBX. As it moves through your repair process, (diagnosis, dismantle, parts replacement, assembly, and shipping) SQBX can track each stage that the mobile device is in. This information can be visible not only internally, but can be made available for the customer that shipped the device in for repair. Ultimately SQBX will provide the repair company with an instant look as to the status of a particular repair as well as giving the customer up to date information on their device. The result will be a customer that is in the loop and overall better customer service experience. This whole process can be achieved by scanning a barcode at each stage of the process. Data entry is minimal that if you employ the use of barcode scanners and labels. Contact us today to learn more how we can use SQBX to assist your repair center.

Today we are going to discuss the importance of notifying the recipient that a package has arrived for them. Notifications can be sent through a number of channels. Email, text message, or by picking up the phone and calling the recipient directly. If your mail center is as busy as most, then calling the recipients directly would be out of the question. In order to efficiently notify the recipients of received packages some type of automation must be in place. Through the use of package tracking software like SQBX the system can automatically send an email or text message to the recipient alerting them that a package has arrived. What happens if that recipient forgets to come down to pick up their package, or they did not get the message? This could result in a missed delivery, a stale item, or cause friction between the mail center and the recipient. The package tracking software should be able to auto generate subsequent notifications on a schedule determined by the mail center. This would reduce the likelihood that a package would end up sitting on a shelf miss placed or forgotten about. SQBX package tracking software has the ability to automatically send the recipient notification that a package has arrived. The system can also 2nd, 3rd, and return to sender notifications to the recipient on a predetermined time table. Call us today to see the power of SQBX inbound package tracking software.

SQBX has become such a versatile inbound package tracking system that many users may not realize everything it empowers them to do. A new feature to the delivery management system has been released - contents fields that allow you to record what was in a specific package. These fields can be turned on or off, named and formatted by the user, and can be updated as a package moves through different hands.

The contents fields are located in the receiving screen (go to admin/customize field names, and check "Track Package Contents") and are more than a text box to add comments - that can be done using "Notes" - they are also a search field. Search for a package by it's contents if you don't know other details. If you're looking at 15 boxes, ONE of which has the item you're looking for, searching by contents will tell you precisely which box to open.

Contents fields can be custom named so you can record specific details when receiving that other package tracking systems don't capture. For example, if you need to note different color packages, create a field called "Color". That specific piece of information will be associated with that package - and now you would be able to search for an item by color (go to "Find Package" and click on the "More" option to reveal all search fields, including your customized contents fields). Adding a new field named "Quantity" would give you the ability to confirm packing slips at the point of receipt by noting the amount of items counted, providing a level of inventory management. Yet another use would be a facility that wanted to keep record of the priority that packages were shipped to them...in this case you would add a field and name it "Priority", and use it to record UPS Blue, FedEx Ground, etc. This would allow you to search for all packages that came in, say, UPS Blue.

Contents fields provide a new angle to parcel tracking and mail delivery tracking using a simple barcode application. The logistics of your operation can now be recorded, sorted, and used to your advantage in ways not available before.

You can look at the brochure's of all the parcel tracking software on the market as well as talk to representatives about their tracking software. At the end of the day after all your questions are answered it's only when your parcel tracking system gets installed that you really find out if what you thought you bought is what you got.

At that point if it is not what you expected out of your new parcel delivery solution what do you do?

Hopefully you had some guarantees from your vendor regarding expected performance of your software.

There is a better way to help you decide which parcel delivery system is right for your organization. Very simply you should ask your parcel tracking software vendor for a live demonstration so you can "Try it before you buy it".

If the vendor will not allow this then I would look for a vendor that will accommodate a trial.

Once you receive the hand held trial unit the tracking software should be installed quickly and configured for your particular package tracking needs. If the software is easy to use then parameters such as delivery route planning,

proof of delivery and electronic signature capture should be easy to set up for you.

It will not take you very long to find out if this tracking software is what you should invest in or try out something else. For more information go to: www.sqbxcloud.com

A growing number of businesses are using package tracking software in increasingly diverse ways. Our tracking software has developed into a powerful receiving and package management system using a cloud server network and finding uses in all major industries. Here are some of the different ways tracking software is being employed:

Hotels and Resorts: With guests coming and going daily, there is little room for error if a package is lost, damaged or even delayed. Hotels use SQBX to send automatic notifications to a guest when their package arrives. Tracking systems also help hotels generate revenue, since it's much easier to substantiate a room delivery fee if there is proof of delivery.

Law Firms and Consulting Companies: The important nature of the documents in this industry make electronic signature tracking a must. Many a law firm & consulting company has contacted us for a chain of custody system - after they went through the nightmare of losing important documents.

Colleges/Universities: Colleges handle a tremendous volume of student mail and parcel deliveries, and they spend a lot of money paying staff to write down tracking numbers all day. A mail tracking system for these busy mail rooms in order to save time is simply a matter of common sense. Many colleges also loan out laptops and other equipment to students, requiring asset tracking software to prevent loss.

Hospitals/Health Care: Expensive hospital supplies are tracked from the minute they arrive at the loading dock until they are consumed. Electronic signature devices create a chain of custody for private medical records, providing evidence of who had access to these documents. Many independent blood labs have implemented tracking systems to prevent samples from being misplaced or accidentally swapped.

Couriers: Every parcel delivery service has two important steps that need to be documented: when they accept a package, and when they deliver it to the recipient. A shipment tracking system provides this. Some couriers also use hand held devices to communicate new pick ups and deliveries to drivers, making it easy for delivery route planners to operate.

Manufacturing and Repair Facilities: An ingenious application this industry has adapted is to track the progress of an item as it goes through various stages of repair or manufacture. Web based tracking software made this application possible and cost effective because it allows managers to see current statuses of specific items - some even let their customers access the system so they can follow the progress themselves.

Cloud based tracking is here, and gaining popularity fast.

Have you ever wondered how to bring the same level of tracking and tracing of packages that the major carriers provide into your organization? Mail delivery software is available to businesses of all sizes. Whether you are receiving hundreds of packages per day or only a few precious items, the need to track the receipt and delivery may be a important part of your business operation. Tracking packages internally starts with the receiving process. The carriers drop off packages and collect signatures for their system. Although this is the end of the process for the carriers it is actually the beginning of the process for receivers. First the package tracking number must be recorded. Typically this can be accomplished through the use of a bar code scan. If a tracking number is not present or is unreadable then the receiver must generate unique identifying number to track the package through to delivery. Next, any additional information required must be recorded against that package such as recipient's name, location, who the sender is, and possiblly the type of or condition of the package. Once the package detail is recorded, the package will either be stored or routed for delivery. This is were the application is specific to each organization. Depending on how the package is to be handled will determine the follow steps in the process. Ultimately the package must get in the hands of the end recipient. Whether the package is delivered directly to that person or delivered to a location, the mail clerk must account for delivery either through a signature or a short note that the package was delivered or dropped off. Although this may sound like a difficult process for most businesses; through the use of technology it can be quite seamless. SQBX inbound package tracking system can help automate the steps listed above to provide the level or package management your business requires. Call today to witness the strength of SQBX.

Receiving can be broken up into two main categories. First, is receiving items that are not tied to a purchase order. These would be packages sent to an individual or department that are not purchased from the organization. Items like over nighted documents, contracts, samples, payments, gifts, etc. Although the items may not directly impact the companies bottom line, it is still important to track these packages once they are received from the carrier through delivery to the end recipient. SQBX inbound package tracking system can help automate that process through the use of mobile computers to scan the bar-code on the package and capture the signature upon delivery.

The other category of receiving would be receiving items that are purchased from your organization and have a PO number that needs to be reconciled with the receipt of the item. This will alert the accounting department to release payment for that item. This is a practice that should be done with all businesses small and large. Purchase order management can be a daunting task if the proper integration is not in place. Quickbooks, the very popular accounting system, does a great on the accounting piece however on the receiving end it is quite limited. SQBX package tracking system has the ability to pull the PO numbers down from your Quickbooks accounting and populate the fields automatically in the receiving system to eliminate key strokes increase productivity. Once the items are received in SQBX the status will be posted back to Quickbooks for accounting to pay that invoice.

Managing these charges can be challenging, time consuming and possibly a point of contention with the guest. The ability to receive or deliver or receive and deliver without returning to the dock or receiving area will save a lot of time and better serve everyone. Newer technology will also be completely web based, (cloud based is the best) eliminating the need for any software to be loaded on the properties network while requiring zero IT department involvement for the installation or after the sale support. A faster, smoother installation will result and the support will be of the instant chat variety vs. waiting for an day or more for a local repairman.

Since, the income and savings form the system will accrue monthly; a monthly lease will better serve cash flow than an outright purchase and eliminate annual maintenance increases. Parcel tracking systems like SQBX will give you greater control of your mail and receiving centers and provide a greater visibility for your recipients that are expecting packages.
